I hope it's clear that anyone can propose an event, which I'll put on the calendar as soon as I'm told it's definite.

That said, looking at the dates mentioned by the 4 previous posters, the only days that all of you are in DC would appear to be the 6th through the 9th. The only one of those days when I'm here is the 6th. So, I'd propose a happy hour and dinner on Tuesday, October 6.

I assume our out-of-towners would prefer something Metro-accessible. We can do something in DC or maybe something in Clarendon. Which would people prefer? Most of the locals who attend regularly live in Northern Virginia or the District (though we do have some hardy folks from Annapolis who attend pretty frequently as well as two SoFL/NYers who make an effort to attend when they're in town). Traffic here is awful, so scheduling dinner before 6:30 pm is a non-starter given that we come from different directions. Maybe happy hour could start earlier, though.

Any suggestions of particular restaurants? In terms of price range, I'd suggest something moderate - entrees say between $9 and $15.
