So how exactly does this benefit work? someone say before they may be more willing to work with an EXP on some situations then others. My experience was actually just now, ticketed BOS-DFW-YVR, did mileage upgrade. I have expert flyer, A class was available for BOS-DFW, C class for DFW-YVR was not. And for some reason, she(phone agent) made an phone call somewhere and the DFW-YVR cleared too. Was this probably based on a revenue management standpoint or is it more of a trace of the EXP benefit? I'll be EXP by late Oct. Because I had a similar situation back in June and I was put on a waitlist.
