I completely agree that these changes are positive and are the right move for CO. They're entering into a JV with UA and LH, and need to be open to customers buying tickets from various channels or airlines, instead of their previous protectionist policies.
My response was to a poster who was specifically thanking CO for the changes, when if left alone, it's very clear CO didn't want to do this (or at least the old CO regime didn't want to).
