As for the sustainable snacks, on my last longhaul I took a nap after dinner. Feeling a little peckish after awakening it turned out that the only (last?) available snackbox had been almost emptied by hungry passengers before me.

My strategy this far has usually been to find something edible in the lounge and discard the inedble parts of the inflight meals. When (not if) I will lose my lounge priviledges I will most likely resort to Johan's strategy: packing enough nuts and chocolate bars to sustain the sporadic KL flights I will be taking in the future.

Come on KL, you can get your chocolates from any non-melamine adding supplier as far as I'm concerned! Now how about a sustainable and fair FB program?
