2. The sheeple actually think TSA is effective.
3. Enhancing profits for water sales on the concourse side of security.
4. Bothering frequent fliers with inane, ineffective, and annoying processes.
5. Humiliating passengers who can't effectively retaliate.
6. Enhancing the pockets of TSOs who steal from poorly secured passenger's luggage.
7. Massive work fair.
8. Provides a place for those on a power trip to exercise their authority.
