They may have changed this...but last time I was in Vegas...

If you go to the spa downstairs, they allow any Gold member (even ones not staying at the hotel) to use the spa for free.

The Bally's spa is better than the Paris and Flamingo spas. Sometimes Paris guest would come to the Bally's spa even though Paris is nicer overall. The Flamingo spa has showers with 4 shower heads - 2 on each side with two temperature controls; you can have hot & cold water at the same time. :-)

Otherwise the Bally's spa is nicer.

The flamingo spa is free if you are staying
in the hotel. Paris spa always charges.

I think the Mandalay Bay spa was the nicest
in town (but I've forgotten...)

----
Park Place Coupon Books. If you ask nicely
at Paris they will often (not always) give
you more coupon books (which have $25 in
match plays). Sometimes I've gotten as
many as 25 books (worth $12.50 each) -
added about $300 to my winnings.

Bally's & Flamingo almost never give you
another coupon book. They Usually say
only 1/room - even if 2 people are staying
in the room.
----
They were planning on renovations,
but the pool-view/strip-view rooms were
older ones. Newer ones were in the back tower.

I preferred the strip-view, even though the rooms were in worse shape.

Enjoy your visit to Vegas.

If you would like any other tips,
e-mail me.
