Just thought I'd update as I'm checked in now at Bally's

HH Gold gets basically nothing. You are guaranteed to get a renovated standard room, rather than a non-reno. That's it. According to the front desk, you do not get Spa access (only for Diamond) and they do not give Suite upgrades for HH Gold regardless of space.

I do have to say, though, last night they put me in a Grand Suite just for the first of my 4 nights only because a large group bought out all the standard rooms. But then they made me come down this morning to trade down to a standard room.

Amazingly, I'm much happier here in the standard room. Although the Grand Suite had a lot of space, a sunken moldy jacuzzi and a bidet, the desk in the suite is so far from the Internet access port, it won't come close to reaching. This would have been more of a problem if the Internet in that room actually worked, but I digress ;-)

This standard room looks quite nice and the Internet works and the port is right on the desk where it should be.

Summary:
Gold = almost nothing
suite = overrated
normal room = really quite nice
