I have called the LAS number on the complaint card and will let you know what excuse they give.

emphasis mine: violation of procedure and a very old tso trick as the hhmd
will alarm if it comes in physical contact with something. watch any tso's when they are preparing to secondary a pax as one of the first things they do is rub or pat the hhmd against their hand or other body part (i.e. leg/arm) to make sure it beeps and thus is working. if you so much as have that happen again, stop the screening at once and demand (yes demand and i normally don't say that) a supervisor and a leo (as witness only). now in your case, i would demand (yes, again demand) to see the surveillance tape

as the pax is not interfering at all but rather simply stating that they believe proper security procedures are not being followed. as to a leo, yes have one present but as i mentioned above, the pax calls the leo over as a witness
