Which is why the referral program, mentioned above, may be the best way to go... it works regardless of how one signs up, so one can sign up directly with the carrier or with an intermediate.
I should note then that the referral program
should be combinable with bonuses given by intermediate sellers. I'm not positive about this, but it seems like that's the case.
