sbm12, I have to respectfully disagree with you. While I DO agree that the phone call to Airtran might prove to be frustrating depending on the skill level of the agent, it will surely beat heck out of the frustration that the passenger will feel if the day he shows up to fly, that's the day he gets a "by the book" TSA agent whose marching orders are to "match the name EXACTLY or deny passage, period." NEVER risk a problem on the day of flight if you have the opp'y to pre-empt the problem ahead of time.
