Magnificent!

Thanks for taking the time to put together this highly informative, entertaining and personal report. I must also commend you on the lovely photographs, providing a complementary visual balance to your well written work.

If there is one word to describe the F experience on LX, I would say it is consistent professionalism. I seldom have the chance to fly longhaul F, and no matter how many times one flies in J the experience can only be described as marginally mediocre in comparison (especially on US and certain European carriers), so the first time I flew on LX years ago I knew it was something special. Back then, the Eames inspired seats featured the wooden scheme which I much prefer to the contemporary ones. It just seemed a bit classier IMHO. Reading about your trip brought back memories and I am happy to see that the high quality catering has remained intact. As a matter of fact, the FA's on my trip encouraged me to try everything and "fatten me up like a turkey" too. I yearn to travel like this again.
