im aware that some hyatts are extremely better quality than a lot of the other chain properties.
While its nice a property tries to know a customer preferences, a line has to be drawn between appropriate profiling and being nosy and keeping too much information on a customer.
i think its better that you know what the hotel is doing than being kept in the dark. You can still beat them at that game.
So you may wish to bear this in mind when making the complaint. The hotel could just choose to hide everything from guests and keep very detailed notes that you never know and use that against you and say we don't have to tell you. I think thats worse.
