I just got off the phone with AA AU. They called me to tell me about schedule changes (which I already knew about anyway). Asked about getting the CBR-PDX shifted to arrive in PDX earlier. The person who called me spoke to AA ticketing about it and they found what I expected them to find, that you can’t use AS on an xONEx (oh what a surprise ).
However as it was showing on the One World tool as a valid flight, they had ticketed it [it was 3 days between submitting the booking and getting the ticket issued, so I would think they had given it a good look], and they already changed it once without noticing that it was an AS flight, they are now stuck with it and are looking at a way I can get to PDX earlier.
I suspect that they will either keep it as is, change it to an earlier AS codeshare flight (as it is there fault for ticketing an ‘illegal’ flight) or route me through DFW.
