The weather for Friday looks ok but we all know that doesn't mean much when talking about EWR. I plan on checking the "today's operations" page on the site a few times an hour to see how things are running.

My ticket on the 7:00 CO flight is a refundable one and the 6:00 Acela would get me there by the skin of my teeth if it's right on time (still have to get over to EWR and then to off-site parking).

Luckily, my gear (which would normally be in my truck) is at my guitarist's house and he'll be bringing it to the venue. Since I had to drive Ms. GadFly to the airport on Monday and she packs like she's going on a 6-month trip to no-laundry-land, I asked if he wouldn't mind helping me out. I guess since I drive him to all the shows (he lives 5 minutes from me), it's only fair. He says he'll unpack and set up my drums so all I'll have to do it tweak things a little.
