My wife and I were on one ATV (double seat) and did the 3.5 hr tour. We initially paid for the 2.5hr tour, but then continued on for the rest of it because it was so fun and informative (paid the difference back at the office). Being in the center of the volcano surrounding by the mountains is stunning. Then going all the way up to Magic Mountain on an ATV - wow what a view! The tour guide spoke French, English and Italian and showed us the different variety of fruit, flowers and plants growing in the rich soil in the valley. Beautiful pineapple fields! Stopped for some fresh Tiare ice cream. Tastes like a gardenia smells, very sweet. If you do one tour, this is it.
Also enjoyed the Hiro's Liki Tiki Motu Picnic with Ray/shark feeding. It was an experience to be in the lagoon snorkeling with a dozen or so sharks coming within arms length of you. They've never had a shark bite incident. The sharks see you clearly and only want the easy food. They just look at you like "feed me something". Although, my wife was on top of my back when some got closer, LOL. The rays love humans. They enjoy being fed and human touch. Very friendly and intelligent creatures.

More great info, Cman. Thanks. What company did you use for the ATV tour? And if it came down to that versus renting a car for the day, would you recommend the ATV? I assume that it gets you to places you couldn't access or wouldn't know to access on your own via a rental car.
