Cheekwood is very cool - it was owned by the family who made Maxwell House Coffee, sold to Postum (General Mills pre-cursor), and immediately invested all of the $40 million in early 20th century dollars in IBM. The house has been turned into a museum, with Faberge eggs, the portraits Warhol and Wyeth did of each other, and carvings by William Edmondson. Very cool, and I used the free admission through the Bank of America program (first full weekend each month).
Looks beautiful! I've never been to Nashville, and not likely to just randomly visit (unless maybe there's a FT event or something!) Good for you for taking advantage of the BofA program -- that's great! Even penny saved -- counts!! ^ I can really appreciate the opportunity to save wherever possible, because there's times when you just have to spend the money, if there's no choice in the matter, eh?!
