Thanks. I also figured this out with the help from ilovetofly. I had a long-unused BA username and password lying around and whenever I logged in, I got the welcome message but wasn't able to search. Not sure if this wasn't executive club membership, or the membership was inactive. Anyway, signing up again fixed the problem.


Otherwise, there are currently 2 C award seats available on BA
That's what AA keeps pushing and what I am trying to avoid. DEL-IST via LHR adds too many flown miles and also bumps up the cost from 130K to 150K. That's why I am focussing on RJ, via Amman would be much shorter.

Another interesting thing I learned is that I need to search DEL-AMM and AMM-IST separately. If I say DEL-IST, then BA's site defaults to BA via LHR and never mentions the RJ option.
