The truth is coming out. The rollback on free award changes had NOTHING to do with 'abuse.' That was an outright
LIE by JeffBob. They now offer that as a "giveback" to DM, who need to earn 50K more MQM to receive this "benefit."
Same with 125% bonus miles.
Same (for DL PM's) who used to get free lounge access as PM until about 2 years ago.
DM? Taking most of the 'best in class' taken-away features of platinum of both airlines and now asking you to pony up 50K more MQM for the same benefit!
