An airport screener later said he had been suspicious of one because of his strange demeanor on the day of the attacks. But the screener had no training that would have given him the confidence to act on his suspicions.

did have the training and it's called "your own gut feeling". ask any bank teller who's been on the job for 6 months and they can tell you all about gut feelings when someone comes into the bank trying to cash a stolen check.
