You can board with no problem at any station FURTHER DOWN THE LINE! (Examples: If you're ticketed BOS-NYP, you could board in PVD, or if you were ticketed NYP-ORL, you could board in PHL.) You could not board in EMY if your ticket says MTZ-SLC, without paying the extra fare!
