This whole section is AMAZING! Eastern Airlines was INCREDIBLE! My Mom took me down to PHL when I was in the 3rd grade to pick up my sister who was visiting our grandparents in SRQ. The second I saw an EAL jet, I was OBSESSED! The next year, my family and I took a trip to Walt Disney World. We flew on EAL flight number 871 from PHL to MCO on an L-1011...we left out of gate C4. I even remember that we had rolled up pancakes with apple filling in them...they were delicious...at least to me they were. It was my very first time flying on an airline and it was unforgettable.

My Grandparents used to fly EAL all of the time back in the day out of JFK. They were flying from JFK to BOS once when, then-Senator John F Kennedy came on board and sat right in front of them! Pretty amazing!

I think if Eastern were around today, they would be great!
