Yep, it doesn't take much to totally screw up IAH. Add to that the fact that CO has decided they want planes 100% full and you leave no room for any irregularities of a small scale let alone a weather "event".
And add to that the fact that CAL senior management insists on staffing the airline (in all departments) at razor-thin levels, thus guaranteeing that when a weather event affects a hub, the situation will be even uglier than necessary.
