I didn't take that shore excursion option. I did some kind of lunch at a palace of some sort with a city tour. CCL, Fascination, Nov. 1996 - I remember that very clearly because A) we got upgraded on SJU-EWR on AA coming home, B) got said upgrade solely because I flew home on my 16th birthday and we had a very nice gAAte AAgent, and C) I had taken enough high school Spanish to successfully purchase a box of Cohibas while managing to not use any English. That was also the day that I overdosed on Benadryl and missed going to Old San Juan and the fortress because I passed out on the bus. However, I did wake up in time for the Bacardi plant tour.
