It is unfortunate, but I have been the most successful when I keep bothering either the NW people (If I bought a delta ticket) or the DL people (purchasing a NW ticket). It sucks, and we shouldn't have to, but nothing is perfect with mergers. So just pester those people and hope for the best
What needs to be done? What do you mean by pester people? I had the skymiles people remove and re-enter my NWA ff # from my res in the DL system, is that sufficient to get an upgrade on a 012 ticket NW flight #, DL operated?
Also, I can't change my seats... whats the deal with that? The seats show up correctly on the DL confirmation number but I can't click on them to change them, they're just gray, not links... I thought it might be due to not having an e-ticket right when I booked the flights but I've had an e-ticket for a week now and still no dice.
