"Landside" lounges are quite common, its merely an extension to hotels having an airport counter to assist arriving guests.
"Airside" hotel lounges (as in the Westin Langkawi) is less common. The Sheraton Senggigi in Lombok (Indonesia) apparently has a lounge at the airport for guests departing on domestic flights (but not international flights); if you find the similarity here, yes both the Westin Langkawi and Sheraton Senggigi belongs to the same owner.
