When I do a multi-city trip and have more than two legs it displays the options by schedule and not by price which makes it cumbersome. I usually have to go to Orbitz or another website to find out how much the various options cost. It would be great if this got fixed.
That could explain something I ran into a few days ago. I first searched some round trips, found the U segments I wanted. Then entered for those times in multi-city, and the same flights came up, but in Q and T, so the pricing shot up. I went back to search simple r/t by price and the U came up again, so they hadn't sold out.
So, it's either that multi-city moved it to schedule (I entered time for some of the segments, but not for all... don't recall which came up as Q), or else it's a revenue management thing.
