In Denmark there are single ride, 10 ride and day-ticket options. I have two specific trips planned next week that would be round-trip for the most zones they have. Those tickets are DKK95 each one way. I can buy a 10-trip for DKK405 and also use that for other trips within Copenhagen, including the to/from airport, ferry, etc. Or I can buy the 72-hour card for DKK450, which is unlimited use and also has discounts for other stuff in Copenhagen. I think that it is clearly a question of the 405 versus the 450 pass but I'm not sure if it is worth investing the extra 45 Kronor (~$8) for unlimited use. Oh, and I'll be in town for just about exactly 72 hours so that actually is the right amount of time.
Thoughts?
Why are you going? Work or pleasure? I loved CPH - 72 hours is actually perfect for a visit.
I remember buying the unlimited card and regretting it. I got a discount at exactly *one* place I visited and other than the airport trips, I mostly walked places. The other train trip I took (over to Malmo) wasn't included with the pass so it didn't matter.
Editing - if you want to save a buck or two, eat the street hot dogs - no, they are NOTHING like the NYC version.

Surprisingly, they are very good.
