I'm pretty sure that surgical titanium would not set the sensor off, but surgical steel - like any other steel item - does. All depends on the type of implant, some are pure titanium or steel, others are blends which would be hit or miss. Also depends on the screening mechanism - I wear the same belt every week, some it sets the sensors off, other times it doesn't. It's a TSA cr*p shoot.
In other news, I'm still trying to recover from last night's trip to the Love Shack here in Fort Worth.
