I just came back from MAN on a 767 in C and had a screaming baby one row IN FRONT of me. I wrote to Gerald Arpey to ask if they could ban kids under 6 in business class - same way that they ban kids under 16 from exit row, and he told me no.

If I were making a fool of myself on a plane, the FAs would probably cuff me and put me in the galley or a toilet. Shoudln't there be explicit rules of accepted behaviour for parents with screaming kids?
Well, this Moderator is going to call this thread a good catch as this issue has been discussed ad nauseum and only devolves into the most rancorous rhetoric one could possibly imagine. I am using Moderator Discretion and am closing this thread. I suggest that if one is inclined to search for threads re:"crying babies", etc., there are other threads which address this topic. One might also take a look at the Travel With Children Forum.
End of discussion on this Forum.
