Thanks for the update re the plans for DigiChat. Thanks to General Flyer for starting this thread.

I am a regular FT chat room user and it is a lot of fun

. However, the consistent boot out and freezing out can be frustrating. Friends still in the room report that our chat names remain in the room, although we have been frozen out, cant chat and cant get back into the room.

While we are waiting for a better chat vehicle, if the IB people could at least make it possible for those who have been inadvertently booted from the chat room, to get back in without having to wait the full 20 minutes (or so it seems) to sign in again, that would be a HUGE improvement ^ IMHO.

I also use yahoo messenger and that is a great chat enviroment, if they are looking for ideas
