I have stayed there on MANY occasions going for status and the service i have had is completely the opposite.
Firstly if you are looking for a good rate give Hotelconnections in Dunblane a call (01786 825 407)their rates are £40 B+B and £70 DBB for the room.
Having stayed there on these rates as Gold and lately Diamond 90% of the time it has been a "Clubbed up" room with Pringles chips, fruit, bottled water and a bottle of wine.
Maybe its just bad luck on your behalf on this occasion.
