I want to book an EWR - LAX trip this weekend to take advantage of the double miles before it expires on June 15. I can go out for about $300 but I have to stay 2 days. Does anyone know if I can fly out one day and come back on the next flight back flying standby if seats are available? Or will I get stuck with change fees or worse yet full fare on the return?
