I want to book an EWR - LAX trip this weekend to take advantage of the double miles before it expires on June 15. I can go out for about $300 but I have to stay 2 days. No. SDC will allow you only flights within 24 hours of your originally ticketed flight. You will also need to call within 12 hours of your desired flight's departure time.
Fare rules from LGA might be friendlier given the additional competition.
