That said, there was definitely an air current that would have blown a flame over, but not out. It SEEMED to be coming from the gasket, but not necessarily from outside. I don't know what kinds of channels are under that gasket, for example. Physics was never my strong suit. Also, this did not happen on my other 3 flights on same type of aircraft, same seat (wish I'd noted the tail #). The ice formed only aft (i.e. in the path of the airflow) just behind the gasket. Curious.
