Fancy, I'm jealous. I guess 10 nights weren't enough. We would have loved to stay a couple of more, but CO wouldn't cooperate with our FF seats .

We visited Pearl on Veterans Day. If you plan on going leave EVERYTHING behind. We were allowed to bring in a small wallet & a 35mm camera only. We were told to leave everything else in the car. The navy(?)is now watching the parking lot via camera & a car. This was the only place on the island that we weren't told "take your valuables out of the car." We also made a first time trip to the Bowfin sub. I couldn't believe the tight quarters that those sailors lived in. My hats off to them. I was feeling cramped just walking through.

Mid week the HHV was emply. Diamond Head & half of Tapa tower were still closed. It filled up a bit more the weekend before Thanksgiving, but as of late Tuesday (we had an 8pm flight) it still wasn't too full. It will fill up on the weekend for the 1 night, and perhaps because of the 60th anniversary it may be a little fuller. I hope you get as lucky as we did with an upgrade.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we're probably going back for our 20th anniversary in June for a couple of weeks. So, I'm going to hang on to those coupons. The couple of times I used them breakfast became breakfast AND lunch .

Have a great trip and thanks for all your advise before mine. If I think of anything that I can suggest for you before Tues, I'll drop you a note.
