The best $325 you'll spend on that trip (assuming you are elite) is called REVUP. Call the elite line at T-24 from the BOS departure and ask to upgrade using the REVUP program. If there is Z inventory you get to ride up front for just the $325 payment - no miles required. It'll even clear the BOS upgrade if there is Z inventory on that flight.
