Question about EUA process...

Hello all,

I checked my account for a upgrade on a short segment (BOS-EWR) this morning connecting to a non-upgradeable EWR-HNL segment for Tuesday. I noticed it did not EUA within the 5 day period (which happens more than not), but I was curious if my "non-upgradable" segment would cause any issues with upgrading the segment BOS-EWR which is allowed.

I called Elite line and they said it should auto-upgrade. That said, for whatever reason it did not.

I did ask if "R" class was showing availablity and she said Yes. I believe "R" is the upgradable fare bucket so I'm curious if I should have been automatically upgraded or not?

Also, which I kind of knew, I asked if there was anyway they could kick off a "upgrade" process to see if would upgrade and they said they can't do that..
