Does anyone know where I can find a current list of programs available for earning miles without flying?</font>
Keep in mind that a list of programs like that will not tell you ALL the ways to MAXIMALLY earn miles without flying, because those can change quarterly, monthly, or even weekly.

For example, Northwest Airlines right now has a Mileage Maximizer promo, where at a number of hotels you earn 1500 miles per one-night stay. If you do a lot of hotel stays (but fly rarely) and can use hotels which normally give 500 NWA miles per night and if NWA is an airline that makes sense to you*, then this can be a very quick way to earn lots miles. But of course, that's a lot of "if"s!

But I doubt you'll find that promo listed on any of these summary lists, because by the time someone took all the promos for all the programs and put them on such a list, all that information would be out of date.

So you have to first use such comprehensive lists (plus the questions below) to narrow down which programs make sense for you, and then look further (beyond summary lists) into those programs to narrow down further which programs to concentrate your earnings into.

*Which airline to earn toward depends a lot on where you live and where you want to fly using miles, as well as how soon/often you want to fly using miles and whether you want the miles for outright flights or to upgrade to more comfortable seats (most important on overseas flights if you're a tall person ).
