If I am traveling with a companion and if I am correct that companion awards on LH are 50% off, intra-Europe awards would be 22,500/person, 60,000/person to Hong Kong, 45,000/person to India and the US, and 30,000 to the Middle East, based on two people traveling together.

If 50% off companion awards apply to Fly Smart redemption levels, this would be very nice. I have yet to confirm this.

Apparently a lot of changes will be made to Lufthansa's M&M programme effective August 1st, 2004 as evidenced in the thread mentioned below, as well as the miles-and-more website.
