In my case, I took a flight on the 25th April which took me over the threshold. I then took lots (16 or so) of flights from the 26th onwards.

When the flight from the 25th posted (on the 30th), I got the adjustment and the change in level. After this, the rest of my flights posted (with dates between the 25th and 30th) but i didn't get status miles for them (all 16).

So, I think the rule is that any flights taken between the date of the one which takes you over the threshold and the date of the mileage adjustement are ignored. It's a little more obvious in my case because I've been travelling with partner airlines and they take a while to post.
