Well, if you're going to try to hit $750 in one month, $1000 may not be enough, in case you use it for stuff where bigger authroizations can be rung up. I know I've not gone beyond $755 in spending, and yet my "credit available" is down by over $900, because of, for example, one hotel double-authorizing and another over-authorizing.
However, yes, in most circumstances $
2000 should be enough if all you want to do is get to the $750 spend (but not much over) in a month.
