You could use the LH Aiport Bus or the tram to get into the city center of Munich. You could get there within 40-60 minutes. The bus leaves every 20 minutes and the tram at least every 30 minutes. So you can easily spent 2-3 hours shopping, sight seeing or enjoying a beer in the English Garden.
