they are interesting, I am not sure I'd go so far as saying good on my palette, but I've tried them. I could see using them as a skewer for some shrimp or maybe an edible toothpick for some ceviche or something of this nature, but not sure they'd be strong(tensile strength, not odor or fishy, they got that down!) enough.
