I have two DL-coded, AF-operated segments on my trip. I called AF to select seats and was able to do so without problem on the JFK-CDG segment. [SQ seat selection over the telephone was also a breeze]. I was told, however, that AF had no record of my CDG-IAH segment. Strange. I guess I'm eventually going to have to call DL and proceed delicately to get this sorted out.
I called and AF said they didn't have the CDG-xxx return but they saw the rest of the itin. They also said that DL would have to request seat assignments since it was a DL codeshare. I guess I will call again in a few weeks and get it sorted out (hopefully).
