i think the spy museum is way over hyped, and do not care to go to holocaust museum.

trip down the potomac to mt vernon is nice. do a lunch trip, or a dinner trip. if with a spouse, the evening trip has dancing.

most smithsonian museums do not have any/many paintings.

i think most of the exhibits will be completely different that the ones of 88. i recall the freer stating that 94 or 96% of the material in there collection was not on display.

get a guide book out of the library, and see if anything else sounds interesting to you.
