Something my visitors and I enjoy a lot is the Hillwood Museum. Off the beaten path but a privately run, very nice former home now museum. They have (it's been a while so possibly had) a cafe there that did a great tea.
In particular they have a lot of russian art and faberge eggs, etc in the displays. There is also a beautiful japanese garden in the back.
Reservations are required.
