To answer the other question, USair status matched me in 2001 also (with my Continental gold status). Still waiting on Delta's response.
I tried this with Northwest too, and they sent me a very nicely worded letter saying that they could not do that, since they partner/codeshare with Continental, and that they were sure that I would understand. I understand that I won't be flying through Memphis anytime soon!</font>
Point 1. Yes, I LOATHE, HATE, DESPISE Delta. I will walk/drive/crawl before I get on one of their planes. Rudest FA's in the business. I am the proud record holder of 11 straight flights as a Delta Silver member in a middle seat. I started to become a joke...
I too tried to get Delta to match my CO Plat status, but I never heard a thing. Not even a response.
And you bummed me out about the NW thing. I was going to try and do that so I could dump NonePass...looks like I am stuck...
