Excuse me, but part of the reason ATL IS a problem, is because there are so many people flying in and out of it. I've been on flights where air traffic control wouldn't let us TAKE OFF because there were too many planes trying to land in ATL. Nothing whatsoever to do with weather. Charlotte doesn't have that, and I will enjoy it while I can. Atlanta is v. similar to Chicago in this regard.

"As for your flight leaving on time. You HOPE that it does...there are never guarantees. I fly out of SAN...possibly the best weather spot in the US(I don't take morning flights ..so fog isn't an issue)..and even we get delayed once in a while."

I used to live in SAN too. Mostly pretty good weather, but I do remember taking flights from Vegas and having to turn around and go back because of fog. Lots of fun can be had listening to "Wheel of Fortune" in the Vegas airport at 1:00 AM. (America Worst).

Weather can be an issue anywhere, but Raleigh and Greenville usually have no major ones to speak of. And the prop plane only goes between similar airports, so it wouldn't be effected by weather in other cities.

IMHO...you have a lot to learn.

Whatever. I don't travel very much, so I probably do have alot to learn.
