The tricky part will be going through immigration without access to the fast track lane, "Acces N°1". Walking from the boarding pier to immigration can take up to 15 mn. Once your friend has cleared immigration, she can reach 2D in 10mn. She will need to clear security, again without fast track access. Once she has cleared security, it is a 5mn walk to any gate.
So 65mn is doable, but rather short for my personal comfort

What gives you access to the "fast track" lane? I'm flying SEA-CDG-FCO in August with a 1hr10 minute layover. Looking at the AF site, it looks like I'm coming into 2E and flying out of 2F and it's telling me that I should take the shuttle (although I'm not really sure why... seems to me that it connects?)
Anyway, I'm flying business class and I also read that if there's less than 45 minutes between flights they will escort you... I guess I'm slightly concerned that I don't have time to make it with the hour 10. But then, I've only ever had this short of a layover either in a small international airport (Fiji) or domestic. And this is my first overseas flight to Europe and I don't speak French so you can imagine I'm a wee bit apprehensive.
Will flying business class get me through the lines a bit faster? (not expected, just a nice perk if it is one!) I know that first class gives you some shorter security lines domestically but I'm not sure how it's handled internationally.
Also, can't I just walk from 2E to 2F or is there a reason they are telling me to get on the shuttle or am I misreading the instructions? (totally possible this is a user error situation!

Looks like on the way back I have an hour between flights - since I'm traveling on award miles I may not have much option in changing flights. I have a stupid question though... do I have to do customs/immigration in Paris if I am connecting to the US? Sorry for all the stupid questions! I've tried to read most of this thread, honest!
