Seriously, beans? How does a Taco Bell run out of beans? Not only is it their most fundamental ingredient, it probably comes in cans and never goes bad, so they should have just filled a stock room with them! And it was literally every time, too, so shouldn't they know to place a slightly larger order the next week?
I got so tired of calling the national customer service line and receiving coupons good for free items (which I couldn't use, since they were always out) that I simply quit complaining...
BV Jr#1 used to manage a Taco Bell at night while he was in High School. IIRC, the beans are actually a powder in a bag that is mixed with hot water.
